The Niagara Foot
This prosthetic foot, due out on the market this year, promises to bring improved mobility to amputees around the world. It is an afforable alternative for amputees. And it wins kudos from early-model wearers, who credit it with standing up to the rigours of their lives while minimizing pain and fatigue.
It is designed by St. Catharines-based Niagara Prosthetics and Orthotics in conjuntion with a research team from Queen's University in Kingston and industry partners in Ontario, Quebec and the United States.
